Ann Arbor’s “Bubble”: A Closer Look at the Homeless and How We Can Help

Ann Arbor, Michigan: A bubble?

As a university town, some say that students and faculty are removed from the problems and issues in Ann Arbor. This video takes a closer look at both the chronically homeless and the newly homeless, the latter being a result of the recession. We may see panhandlers on street corners and rummaging through recycling bins, but what we don’t see is family homeless, which is largely invisible. This video also explores what student groups on campus, individual students, the government and non-profit organizations are doing to help the homeless.
